The 2nd Annual Cupid's Crawfish Boil. We started this event with our good friend Boo Radley at The Demo in 2016 in an effort to foster community and good times, and we had such a good time that we decided to continue it at Gezellig. We like to set aside our social graces for Valentine's Day and get our hands dirty with our loved ones, while getting a jump start on our favorite season: crawfish season. $25 gets you into a traditional Louisiana-style boil with crawfish, sausage, potatoes, and corn. We like it spicy, so come prepared. The event is all you can eat, and we will have a well-curated draught beer list to complement the boil, with special prices for the day. The speakers will be pumping with a few DJ sets from Zach's Wrath throughout the day & night, as well as cajun-themed tunes in between. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Join us at 4pm as we help Odell Brewing launch the latest beer in their Cellar Series, Dark Theory. Available on tap and in 750ml cork & cage bottles.
From the label: Experience the gravity of Dark Theory. Black cherries swirl in an abyss of wild fermented imperial porter. Belgian yeast strains illuminate a galaxy of plum and cranberry flavors atop layers of tart cherry and sweet bread. Roasted malts add notes of coffee, chocolate, and tobacco for a beer that is full-bodied, complex, and out-of-this-world smooth.
We'll have some Odell crew on hand, and they'll probably have some cool schwag to give out.
A beer tasting and education night. We will learn about the four basic ingredients of beer and the best way to taste it. We will also taste test 5 different styles of beer from the four classic beer making regions: Germany, Belgium, England, and the US.
